Finally, a warm spring day in Ohio

So we finally had a 75 degree sunny day in Ohio this past Sunday, and I wanted to practice my pet photography skills. I don't think I will ever be able to pose a dog, but I think I would be happy with "in the moment" pictures. Here are my favorite from the bunch I took on Sunday. Practice makes perfect, I guess.

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge - Slice of Life

This week's theme over at I Heart Faces is titled “Slice of Life”  and focuses on an image that you feel captures a bit of real life.  I entered this image because that's exactly what it captures a slice of life.

I was attending a friend's wedding, as a guest, and this little girl was playing in the rocks.  I just love the innocence of a child playing with something as simple as a rock.
